Name: T.J. Brackin
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Appearance: When he first arrived due in part to the Great Convergence, he was well overweight, pale-skinned, a bit scruffy with patchy facial hair, with unkempt brown hair on his head and wearing a pair of glasses over green-blue eyes.
After his initial transformation into a Kresnik, much of his more colorful attire (bright-colored T-shirts with funny quips, bright tinted sneakers and blue jeans) was exchanged for darker colors (black body-hugging T-shirts, black steel-toed boots, black jeans with chains as a belt), his body slimmed down and toned considerably, his skin paling down even more, his facial hair coming in thick but well-trimmed with a mustache and soul patch, his glasses gone from his now purple eyes and his hair slicked back.
With him once again being turned human, he was turned to more colorful wear once again, though just basic colors rather than decaled shirts. He keeps a hold of a special enchanted hooded leather jacket made for him during his time as a kresnik, along with a flannel shirt just underneath it. As for his body, he keeps his toned and trimmed appearance as a kresnik, though his skin takes on a healthier hue. His hair has been cut to a short trim, and his facial hair remains well-trimmed, but going from soul patch and mustache to a full goatee. His eyes have returned to their regular color, and no longer has to worry about wearing glasses.
Personality: After his death, his resurrection into a kresnik and his subsequent return to humanity, T.J. has decided that he isn't going to let life pass him by. He is willing to embrace the incredible and strange, allowing himself to take chances on smaller things he normally wouldn't have in the past, even if it means that it might not end up the way he wanted. He has a soft spot for those in need, often going out of his way to make sure to improve their lives. While very frugal, he has shown that he on occasion offers munny to those who might need it more than him. In the heat of battle, he quite frequently focuses on his immediate threat, glancing every so often to see if any allies might need assistance.
He is still a bit shy around other people he doesn't know, especially around ladies. He has trouble accepting critique about himself and his actions, often feeling the need to justify so as to not feel inferior. Otherwise, he is rather jovial, often being friendly, willing to listen to those who need to talk, and even provide some sense of absurdity.
Powers: Magical Absorption - Thanks in part to the power of his Oni Gauntlet, T.J. is able to absorb the ambient mystical energies of any enemies he comes across to fuel the energies of his magical weapons, as well as heal himself.
Abilities: Enhanced Physicality - Due to his Oni Gauntlet, T.J. finds his physical abilities has been tuned to that of a Olympic-level athlete, allowing him to run faster, strike harder, dodge quicker and take more damage than normal.
High Mental Acuity and Recall- Incredibly intelligent even back before the Convergence, T.J. has taken to mentally catalog the various creatures that he has come across, noting their strengths and weaknesses and being able to bring up such facts on quick notice. However, he is still having some trouble with trying to match names to faces.
Weapons: Shiva - A mystical katana enchanted with ice, Shiva is T.J.'s primary and most balanced weapon. The source of it's power is the pale white orb located on T.J.'s Oni Gauntlet. Using Shiva, T.J. is able to generate a powerful slash that send shards of ice at its intended target
Ifrit - A fire-infused dual bladed sword, Ifrit is one of T.J.'s more speedy weapons. Using its magic, T.J. generates three cascading waves of flame towards his opponent. Like the other weapons at T.J.'s disposal, the power to manifest this weapon comes from a gem affixed to his Oni Gauntlet, this one a bright and vibrant red color.
Ramuh - A lightning and thunder-infused axe, Ramuh's attacks are more focused on pure power rather than speed. Its magical capabilities call down the power of lighting to charge up the edge of the axe, speeding up the attacks and hitting its target five times, with the fifth hit bringing down a lightning bolt onto said target. The yellow orb on T.J.'s Oni Gauntlet is the source of Ramuh's power.
Titan - A staff imbued with the elemental power of Earth, this weapon focuses more on striking speed rather than strength. By stamping the staff into the ground, its elemental magic is triggered, generating a series of spike to shoot up from the earth. The source of its power comes from the orange-tinted orb located upon the Oni Gauntlet.
Sylph - Focused more on power at a longer range, this spear is imbued with the elemental effect of air. Using its magical ability will cause a whirlwind to shoot out from the spear's tip to not only push enemies back, but also hit them with multiple quick slashes of wind. Upon the Oni Gauntlet, the color associated with Sylph is purple.
Leviathan - Another long-range weapon, the Leviathan is a water-imbued whip sword that provides a balance of attack power and speed. Calling upon its magic creates a water bubble over its target, preventing them from attacking and damaging them over time. Tapping into this power is done through the use of the blue orb on the Oni Gauntlet.
Equipment: Oni Gauntlet - A construct made by ancient Oni to act as a tool and conduit for ancient Oni magics, the Gauntlet is semi-organic, as the central orb of the Gauntlet can be covered up by the gauntlet, mimicking an eye. Below this central orb are six smaller orbs, colored white, red, yellow, green, blue and purple. Each of those orbs contain elemental effects that transfer up to the central orb, in turn manifesting the various weapons that T.J. uses.
History: Prior to the Great Convergence, T.J.'s life was one that was typical: He woke up, he went to work, he came home, he ate, he gamed, he went to sleep. Rinse and repeat, consistantly, for years after his completion of college. However, when the Great Convergence struck, his life took a drastic, DRASTIC turn. He was taken to the famed Castle Dracula during the era of Richter Belmont and Alucard, where he had to scamper and flee from the myriad monsters that appeared. While he was successful running away from most of the more rank and file creatures found inside of Castle Dracula, he had to stop and rest in the safety of a save point. However, doing so was a mistake, for as he slept he found his dream invaded by one of Dracula's more powerful agents, the Succubus. Having no means to defend himself, there was only one thing he could do.
He died.
However, his story did not end there. He would awaken shortly thereafter, changed by the event. He did not know how at the time, but his death was countered with a subsequent resurrection, and a transformation: He was no longer a human, but rather a Kresnik. Now among the undead himself, he sought to isolate himself, out of fear and concern that he could be as bad if not worse than the creatures he had once fed from. This was doubly true as he found himself driven much like vampires to crave the taste of the blood of others. In time, he found out why this happened: An outside force felt it necessary to trigger this transformation so that T.J. could act as an agent of balance among the myriad worlds.
The Convergence's effects were so profound that monsters, creatures and all manner of unnatural beasts were torn from their native worlds and cast out into countless other worlds where they did not belong. T.J., in turn, was meant to eliminate this creatures from those worlds by any means necessary. While he fought off his desire to feed, he found that facing off and vanquishing these things were not only theraputic, but also lucrative as people began to pay him for his monster-hunting services. In time, not only had he gained ample fighting experience, but also a rather sizable amount of wealth.
After a particularly arduous challenge against a full army of dangerous monsters seeking to claim Halloween Town, T.J. had returned to his home, when he felt a sudden pang of exhaustion, the strongest he had since his transformation. As such, he fell into another deep slumber. However, this sleep would not harken to his death, but rather a rebirth. The same outside force that changed him finally appeared to him, telling him that he had gone farther than even it anticipated. As such, this force felt it was time to grant him his release. When he heard this, T.J. fully expected that he would die again and would stay dead. However, he awoke back in his home to find a new shock.
He was among the living once more, once more human, but gifted an object he found familiar: The infamous Oni Gauntlet. Given a new source of power as well as a true second lease on life, T.J. vowed he wouldn't let life pass him by anymore.
