Appearance: Somewhat gaunt in appearance, Ezekiel stands about 5'11", wearing a tweed jacket, cream-colored tee and jeans. His hair is down to his neck, which he has pulled back into a loose ponytail. A pair of glasses cover his eyes, which are a speckled brown and sunken in. Both his regular and facial hair are brown, although both have strong showings of grey in them. He covers up his right hand with a simple leather glove, hiding a branding of the Seal of the Metatron upon his palm.
Personality: Typically aloof and distant from most people, Ezekiel often finds it difficult to push himself to connect with anyone. He often lapses into long periods of silence, so as to put himself into deep contemplation. Not often forthcoming with his past or his feelings, he often hides them behind half-truths or an outright unwillingness to speak about it. He hates to be criticized, feeling that doing so is just some kind of attack on his character. While is not necessarily naive, he has been known to be manipulated so that others could achieve their goals.
Despite all his negatives, Ezekiel is by no means a cruel or wrathful individual. He is readily sympathetic to those who need help, if he is able to muster the courage to actually initiate contact. If he is able to establish a strong friendship, he is more willing to tell more of his past, except for his deepest shames. He can be overly protective of those he considers friends, but only because he really means well for them. He can also be overly eager to please those he calls his friends, as he believes that doing so will make up for past failings.
Powers: Originating from a scar on his hand in the shape of the Seal of the Metatron, Ezekiel is able to channel powerful divine magic to either generate a powerful shield, or to a lesser degree, an ability to heal others with a touch. While the scar came from an encounter with the Order while in Silent Hill, it's mystical abilities did not trigger until the Convergence.
Abilities: Critical Problem Solving - Making use of various forms of problem solving (critical thinking, lateral thinking, inductive and deductive reasoning) Ezekiel is capable of solving many types of puzzles.
Weapons: Baseball Bat - A regular baseball bat, composed of aluminum. There are numerous dents on it, suggesting heavy use.
Revolver - A .38 revolver, typically carried by state troopers which he found in Silent Hill. It is almost in pristine condition.
Equipment: Radio: A damaged small portable radio. Static can be heard when trouble is near.
Flashlight: A small light source that can be clipped onto a pocket. Useful, but doesn't generate a lot of light.
Beef Jerky: A package of dried beef strips. Useful to restore vitality or to distract enemies.

History: Ezekiel Paul Carver's life was not an easy one, even early on. After his mother's death at the age of 4 and the imprisonment of his father, he was sent to live with his grandmother. After 6 years of peace and relative happiness, his father was released from prison and became Ezekiel's custodian. A year after being returned to his father, Ezekiel and and father took a vacation to the town of Silent Hill. Whilst there, young Zeke would come across a strange woman who would tell him that she knew his sins.
Years would pass, and eventually at the age of 15, Ezekiel would lose his father. Once again placed under the care of his grandmother, Ezekiel would become even more withdrawn, rarely associating with anyone or anything, Only when he reached his 30's would Ezekiel begin to talk with a therapist, and even opening up to a young woman named Darlene. However, such happiness was not to last.
During their courtship, Darlene would suggest that a return to Silent Hill might be able to provide closure for Zeke. Zeke would be adamant that he would never go, as it was something his therapist had also suggested. The memories of that town had disturbed him greatly as a child, and he was not keen on having to deal with those memories. One day, visiting Darlene's home he finds that she has gone to Silent Hill. He was content to wait... but days pass, and she doesn't return. Fighting past his trepidation, he heads towards the resort town to find her.
Arriving in Silent Hill, he found himself assailed with old memories, old insecurities, and many things unexplainable. A strange fog that hides another world, filled with monsters and terror, a far cry from his time there over 20 years prior. In spite of all that had transpired, all the trials and tribulations, all the unspeakable monsters be contested against, even testing his will against a secretive religious sect known as the Order, he would eventually find his way to Darlene... who was already dead, a victim of the sect. Lost in his sorrow, he doesn't even realize that the world fades away, only to be replaced with a new one.
