Having brilliantly green eyes and slightly pale skin, she prefers not to make use of any kind of cosmetics, as she feels they are tacky and unnecessary. She lacks the distinct hourglass feminine shape of other ladies, as though she has an ample bust she lacks a well-defined or exaggerated posterior. As for clothing, she is always seen wearing strap-on sandals with thigh-high stockings, a simple baby-blue T-shirt and a matching pleated skirt. When she enters into battle, she is able to summon her battle attire onto her, much like a magical girl transformation. This includes her Gummi Armor (a form-fitting breastplate, forearm guards and thigh guards in the style of scale mail) and weapons (A set of blades consisting of a wakizashi and a tanto attached to her waist and lower back, respectively.)
Personality: From an early age, Kida has had it instilled in her that one must have a structured life, that one must have strict discipline. As such, whatever tasks she is handed she follows through with the utmost focus and dedication. As a consequence, when she falters or feels as though she did not give her best, she becomes incredibly self-critical, often shaming and punishing herself as a result. She has little use for humor, as she feels it is a waste of time and energy, and more often than not she doesn't even find it funny as she doesn't really comprehend it. As such, she often comes out standoffish, arrogant, and more than a bit judgmental of others who don't reach her own expectations. On top of that, she is often prideful of her accomplishments, using them as an excuse to lord her superiority over others.
While she may seem incredibly unlikable to the world at large, she is not entirely self-centered. When the watchers of the Struggle tournament were under threat of the Heartless, she was willing to take the leap to fight them. The only ones who have any real kind of lenience with Kida are the very young, as she realizes that they have yet to grasp the need for structure, and do not react well to being judged; and the elderly, as she realizes that their time has given them a wide berth of understanding, and that their lives are a tribute to their struggles.
As much as she takes pride in herself, she absolutely idolizes her father. Seeing that he taught her everything that she knows, Kida is quick to defend her father's honor, even if he is wrong. While she had previously accepted his mistakes as just accidents or misunderstandings, she has become more critical of him as of late, often pointing out his flaws and faults.
The only time that she allows herself to feel free of structure and control is when she paints. When she paints, she feels not pride, but rather joy in the act of creating. Often, her art pieces end up being abstract, still life or background paintings. She has steadfastly refused to do portrait paintings because the idea of painting a person makes her feel uneasy, as though creating a painting of a person would force her to need to impose her beliefs of control and structure in her art.
Powers: Flash Step - First manifesting during her first battle against the Heartless, Kida is able to briefly flash out of sight. She often uses this in junction with her blades to strike at critical points on her foes in quick succession, turning what would have been drawn-out fights into quick victories. Likewise, she can use it as a means of quick evasion of attacks. However, she cannot continue to use Flash Step for extended periods of time, as doing so can cause her great fatigue, intensive muscle cramps and even short-term paralysis.
Battle Summon: Though not exactly an offensive ability, Kida is able to summon her armor and equipment upon herself at will not unlike a magical girl transformation sequence.
Abilities: Advanced Swordfighting - Taught by her father, Kida has spent years honing her skill with blades, especially along the fields of Kenjutsu, Battojutsu and Iaijutsu. With such training, she has learned which points to strike for maximum efficiency, being able to swiftly strike and return her blades to their sheathes with little time or motion wasted.
Advanced Martial Arts - To compliment Kida's skill with blades, her father also taught her a variety of martial arts, including karate, aikido, judo and kendo; all as means to defend herself and give her strict discipline. Making use of quick targeted strikes with fists, elbows, knees and feet, coupled with various joint locks, throws and sweeps makes her well-skilled in taking down regular opponents with relative ease.
Weapons: Tanto/Wakizashi Set - A special set of blades created for her by her father, this set of blades is crafted not just from traditional steel like other swords. It also incorporates Gummi material her father found some time ago, making the blades more pliable without compromising their cutting strength. Much like her Gummi Scale Armor, the color of the blades are capable of changing due in part to the Gummi material used for its construction, depending on the way that light hits the blades.
Equipment: Gummi Scale Armor - Created by her father, this lightweight, form-fitting set of scale armor was molded from pieces of Gummi that fell to Twilight Town some years back. Consisting of a chest piece, forearm pieces and thigh pieces, the scaling of the armor looks to be made of polished metal. The only way to see it's nature as Gummi material is dependent upon how the light hits it, as the color of the scales will change.

History: Born and raised in Twilight Town, Kida was taught from an early age the importance of structure and discipline by her father, a blacksmith who helped shape the Struggle competition into what it is today. As such, she often watched as her father practiced martial arts when not working, which she often tried to imitate by herself. With time however, she would become her father's student, teaching her a variety of martial arts to not only defend herself, but also further the discipline he had been teaching her. It was also during her early years that she developed a passion for art, specifically painting.
By the time she was 10, her father decided to further her training, by beginning to teach her the way of the sword. She had known her father had made blades in the past, but to see him actually use one was an incredible sight. As such, she was further driven to become as skilled as him. This was no easy task, as it took a number of years to reach his skill, along with continuing her training in regular martial arts as well as her schooling.
During her 16th year, she took her first big risk by entering the Struggle Tournament. Among a sea of newcomers and established Strugglers such as Hayner, Seifer and Setzer, Kida surprised everyone by not only winning, but doing so in a dominant fashion, beating Seifer in the finals without losing a single orb. Before being awarded her Struggle trophy, a small incursion of Heartless sought to collect hearts to bolster their numbers by attacking the crowd. Without a second thought, she collected one of her father's swords and used it to fend off the Heartless, her power to Flash Step manifesting providing her an edge against the inhuman threat.
Filled with pride over not only winning the Struggle but also fending off the threat of the Heartless, Kida sees herself as the self-appointed Champion of Twilight Town, fighting off threats both in the Struggle Ring as well as the real threat of the Heartless.
