If one looks into his eyes while he is using magic, they can see a dark, alien sky beyond him deep in his pupils. Instead of a left hand, he has a silver, crystalline replacement. In worlds where he wants to hide said arm, he keeps it in a blue sling and pretends that it is broken.
He has two wings, though he normally has them hidden away beneath his shirt (though naturally they would rest beyond it). The left wing seems to be dead from an outsider's perspective; it is ghostly, necrotized, and skeletal, the bones seemingly blackened in some way and corroded, with flimsy, membranous cartilage between the bones, its "feathers" formed of psionic energy, appearing as black, transparent feathers to those who can see them. The right wing is luminous, beautiful, and translucent, feathered and bright white, seemingly silver in the moonlight much like his hair. Each wing has a hand on the end, (the black one clawed and skeletal, the white one muscular but having no such claws), which he can utilize as extra arms, and which are otherwise resting on his shoulders if the wings are constricted to his body.
For clothes, he wears a blue-gray shirt and forest green pants. He also has a hooded jacket over it that is silvery-gray and seemingly carved from moonlight and mystical crystal, the hood typically down and only really used functionally, without hiding his appearance at all. In pieces of it, there are cracks in the plate that show a dark silver through that appears to be forged from midnight itself.
His true appearance, that of his soul itself rather than his body, is a humanoid figure in a hooded robe in midnight blue with what appears to be a half-circle in silver on the back (truly a representation of a half-moon) with multiple sets of each of his Abominable Wings (see powers), each with light blue eyes peppering their surface. Rather than a face, it has a mirrored surface under the hood that seems clouded and alternates randomly between a white-silver light and a dark grey smoke. This form speaks telepathically. The being also has a set of dark tendrils that reach out from the cloak. The overall impression given is that Naito is confining his cursed existence within the robe itself, and the actual appearance may be far more frightening and eldritch than what is already visible.
Personality: Naito is, to be simple, haunted, and suffering from post-traumatic stress as a result. He puts no trust in divine beings of any sort. He rarely sleeps well, constantly feeling some kind of dark influence watching him and waiting for his next move, especially in nights with a visible moon. While he does kill other monsters, he believes he himself is one, and does so not only to make the worlds better, but also to exorcise his own feelings of guilt. When surprised, especially startled awake, he may have an exaggerated response, even violent, or scream out something related to his past. Furthering his state, he has no belief in the concept of luck, thinking people make their own, and that he himself is beholden to his choices, and thus in his own mind is cursed.
Despite being aware of what he did, Naito tends to identify it as being a result of him being cursed, rather than him having performed a horrendous act. He has to work hard in order to admit that he, himself, performed his act of familicide, rather than it being some act forced upon him by circumstance. On top of that, he will work his hardest to escape any forms of confinement he finds himself in despite feeling it is deserved, wanting to work toward fighting his internal demons on his own terms.
Due to the psionic nature of his left hand, he is very defensive about using it in many cases, usually being opposed to shaking hands with people using said hand unless he wants to gain information.
Naito is not very good at interacting with people. He is a relatively quiet person, usually only speaking in short sentences. The only places where this is not the case are with people he has come to be close to, for whom he will speak for longer periods. He has a hard time explaining how or why he does things, both for his protection and for other unclear reasons. Still, he tries to keep them away if possible with few exceptions, noting that they have to be careful, lest they get into danger from either him or the people who may want to hunt him.
On account of or perhaps even exacerbating his problems with people, Naito seeks solace in speaking with spirits that only he can see, and may not even be real, sometimes drifting off to listen to them or personifying them through the remains of dead beings he finds. He may fake it, but he feels no compassion for those who are dead (outside of those who he had killed), seeing them to be lucky for having escaped staying with him.

He can also use this on individual people who touch the hand, though it does not extend to their thoughts themselves (and so cannot have a clear reading on the present). As a downside, he cannot control this effect, and may tap into items with darker histories that may cause him pain. If used effectively, it may even enable him to see what transpired a short time earlier to help track someone, but that requires intense focus and practice. While using this power, the irises of his eyes become transparent.
- Abominable Wing Summoning and Flight: When not wanted, his wings disappear from view, one in black smoke, the other in a flash of light. Despite the fact that they are disproportionate in their appearance, he can use them to fly. His black wing is mostly used to pull himself this way and that or to manipulate his place in the environment, while the white one is more useful for brute-force approaches and raw magical potential, though both can be used for basic carrying behavior. The only reason he has these abilities is his corrupted being, which, if viewed through a lens to what he "really" looks like, makes him appear to be, by all accounts, an angelic abomination (a "holy" being that has something fundamentally wrong with how it looks and operates).
-- Fear and Awe Aura: The instant he reveals his wings, Naito projects an aura unconsciously to any who see it. For those who see him as a threat, he instills fear (unless they are completely immune to fear or otherwise resistant), while those who see him as neutral or an ally are filled with awe (which can be resisted in a similar manner to a "charmed" effect in games, such as psychic control). The effect is instantaneous and does not last long, but may still mace an effect on people's interactiond and behaviors such as attacks or delays.
- Tainted Moon Tribe Clairvoyance: Many members of the Moon Tribe have the gift of clairvoyance, a perception of things or events in the future or beyond normal sensory contact. However, due to his state and the various problems of his being, Naito cannot directly access this potential. Instead, he tends to unconsciously mumble or write out with his fingers or hands about events he has no way of knowing about, typically having happened elsewhere. While he can interpret these writings, he often does not bother unless it helps him to survive, and cannot consciously choose where they lead.
- Moon Tribe Levitation: He can fly without his wings, albeit not while carrying others (without difficulty), much like many others of the Moon Tribe. However, a mental block keeps him from accessing this power, in no small part due to him not wanting to see himself as part of the Moon Tribe.
- Lunar Magic: Utilizes a form of lunar magic that focuses on the elements of yin and yang, and overall duality, stemming from an eldritch source. While they do have bases in magic and psionic powers both, they also have various similarities with the manipulation of chi, or ki. He knows that it can be used for locating the right direction to go, as well as to teleport, but does not have those spells available. While this power has an association with water and gravity, it does not appear to have direct control over them. In theory, this magic could be used to invoke illusions or invisibility, or even to control the moon itself, but such power is beyond Naito's accursed madness. This magic is stronger in the night, especially when the moon is out. In worlds where the phase of the moon is important, its power may wax and wane with the phases, but where it is unimportant or unmentioned, this is not a factor.
-- Silver Blessing: With a breath of cool air, the caster causes a single item to take on a glittering, silvery sheen, taking on the supernatural properties of silver.
-- Phase Spellcasting: Can augment his spells to increase or modify their effects at the cost of higher exhaustion or looser control. Doing so causes the area around to darken significantly (for Yang) or brighten significantly (for Yin), as if in an eclipse.
-- Celestial Shift: Switch from one style of lunar magic to the other. If with enough practice and time to focus, can even balance on the edge of them both to use spells neither could alone, but at the cost of not using either of their specialties either.
-- Yang Style: Focused on the light, this form of magic is more external and physically based. This magic influences him to be more empathetic, helping others as much as he can, but very aggressively. The overall manifestation of this type of magic is a white light that is tinged with darkness. Out of the two styles, this one works better at utilizing direct light such as sunlight powered magic to power lunar spells, though only as necessary. If out of control, this style of magic can result in blasts of white-black energy that can sear the landscape or cause serious harm to others.
--- Moonlight Strike: Wreathes his weapon in moonlight, enabling it to deal light or cold-based damage (depending upon the world). The weapon glows with a soft inner light. If it is ice-based damage, it can freeze a surface or person severely while impaled into them (unless used with a slashing attack only).
--- Moonbeam: Fires a beam of moonlight, which deals freezing damage if it hits, and deals extra damage to those who are affected by the moon (werebeasts, et cetera). This beam can be fired from him personally (especially from his hands) or called down from the sky if outside at night for increased damage. For added potential, it can be kept active continuously over a longer period of time in the latter case and perhaps moved around like a lunar spotlight, with the main problem being it costs much more power to function in this way and may require him to not do anything else while it is in action so as to keep it under his control.
--- Lucent Touch: A touch-based healing spell that can repair physical damage, but not mental effects (such as emotion-based powers or illusions).
--- Mark of Waning: The target, after being hit with a strike of lunar energy, is noticeably more tired, slowing them down and making them physically weaker in contests of strength.[LOCKED]
--- Smoking Mirror: Can look to the moon and see a smoky reflection of the surrounding area as a bird's eye view, though he is forced to rely upon his own memory to keep the locations in his head. The cloudier the night, the harder it is to get a good reading, and this power does not work in places where there is no moon in the sky, as well as only functioning at night.[LOCKED]
--- Feral Call: Scream loudly, a bestial roar, and call wild beasts nearby to the caster's aid. This spell is most powerful when he is angry.[LOCKED]
-- Yin Style: Focused on the darkness, this form of power is more of an internal psychic source than arcane, allowing for illusions and other mental effects. This psionic power hands to dampen his empathy when in use, but is also relatively subtle. The overall manifestation of this power is a deep, spectral blackness that is speckled with shifting points of light, as if it were a window into the night sky. However, it is typically visible only to those who have supernaturally inclined senses. This style is his usual preference unless otherwise stated. If out of control, this style can result in the production of wide, sweeping illusory landscapes around the user, making friends and foes alike look like and sound monsters, and even showing elements of Naito's true form in flickers.
--- Telekinesis: Basic telekinetic ability by using invisible tendrils of dark, void-like yin energy from minuscule portals, which he can even wrap around his limbs to increase the force behind a punch or kick if necessary. Use on the living is slightly more difficult for beginners, but not impossible. He can also control multiple objects simultaneously, though this takes practice, especially if it involves fine motor control on each item (such as using multiple firearms).
---- Telekinetic Redirect: At high levels of power, with enough focus and timing, this power can be used to stop projectiles, even bullets, in their tracks and redirect them at another target at will. However, it requires the user to focus on that action. When using this power, he generally manifests the invisible yin power as a solid mass of a wall, unless catching a single projectile.
--- Moonshadow Strike: Deals a strike with his weapon, preferably his ranged one, that deals darkness or overall magic-based damage (depending on the world). If the shots are visible, they are infused with a deep, dark blue energy that borders on black, symbolizing the darkest elements of sapient nature.
--- Lunacy: Drives the target into a crazed, often violent state for a short period, unable to tell friend from foe. Can be extended if used continuously, or if focused heavily can even lead them to destroy themselves (provided they are weak willed).
--- Luminous Clarity: Shine a light into the darkest moments, shielding an ally from outside psychic influence. If the spell is enhanced, it can also remove said influence as if a psychic "Esuna" type spell.[LOCKED]
--- Moonstruck: Deals psychic damage to the target, bypassing physical defenses (but not magical ones) by attacking their very mind.[LOCKED]
--- Balance Inversion: Can temporarily invert a target's morality and switch the associations of allies and foes in their mind, causing them to switch sides. Must achieve physical contact. Only lasts a short time, but the amount is extended the more firmly the victim is entrenched in one side or another (such as a very lawful and heroic hero turning into a chaotic and depraved villain, et cetera).[LOCKED]

--- Darklight Construction: Can form various temporary constructs out of lunar energy, including bridges or orbs of moonlight for viewing purposes. This power seems to be a crystalline mixture between moonstone and silver when solidified, but when molded, it seems to be some paradoxical silver fluid that is simultaneously composed of cold flames.[LOCKED]

-- Mooncurse: When angered, Naito's body becomes increasingly bestial and feral, making his teeth grow to fangs and his hands slowly grow to claws. Although this makes him look like a werebeast, he is not particularly vulnerable to the same elements.

-- Thousand Yard Stare: Has a possibility of freezing up (akin to a "stun" effect) in response to using the mental effects of his powers to subdue a foe, having momentary flashbacks in that period. Snapping him out of it may require taking him away from the situation (gently, preferably) or shaking him until he comes to.
-- Panic Attacks: Certain experiences may lead him to have a panic attack, shaking and falling to his knees while hyperventilating. - Yomi (Underworld): A modified kusarigama with a silver blade and a seemingly crystalline white hilt that appears made from moonstone, connected to a silver chain with a carving of what appears to be a rabbit on the weight at the end. The blade can be shifted from a straighter (though still curved) blade design and a more traditionally hooked scythe appearance, and can also be folded up in a manner akin to a folding knife (such as a balisong, a.k.a. butterfly knife) to conceal if wanted to keep away from notice. Lighting up along sigils ingrained into the blade when out at night brightly enough to be used as a light source in its own right, this weapon was taken from the remains of his original ship using remnants of Moon Tribe technology. Typically used just with the kama end, but the rope is sometimes used if he needs to climb. It is "moon-touched," and thus gains extra power under the moon, even glowing silver and leaving streaks of a silver-gray blue as he swings. When using his Yang style, this weapon's blade can extend and thicken to appear as a larger scythe when infused with power, though the actual weapon remains the same size. The weapon can also be summoned to his hand at will due to its connection to his magic and his psychic abilities, flying to his hand rather than teleporting there.
- Haji (Shame): A ranged weapon forged by Naito out of a midnight blue crystalline material that integrates with his Yin style, having the mark of a snarling wolf along the side of the barrel. The weapon utilizes his psionic power as ammunition that can regenerate itself if he does not use the weapon for a short period of time. The base form is a semi-automatic handgun with a pair of limbs at the front to work as a crossbow (the inner side of each limb also having the lupine motif), but the actual effects of the weapon depend upon his use of psychic energy, with him able to expend single strong blasts, or a sustained stream of weaker ones akin to automatic fire. He can fire bullets in a firearm formation or bolts in a crossbow formation. The actual effects of the weapon are invisible, dealing direct psychic damage. Even if the bolts fired from its crossbow formation hold someone steady, they only exist so long as he concentrates on them. If he fires the weapon when he is too exhausted, it may backfire and cause him psychic damage instead.

- Moonlight Lantern: A dim lantern that grants light in darkened areas using the power of moonlight, capable of transforming though affected by the moon back to their un-transformed selves under its light.

History: Born under a dark star, he grew up with abilities distinct from the technological capabilities of many of his fellow Moon Tribesmen. Upon the beginning of the Moon Tribe cataclysm, he used his magic, through means that he considers to be entirely his own fault (and others who survived agree) to drive his family to madness with the Yin side of his powers, causing them to kill one another, only stopping once his left arm was severed in their crazed state. With the fall of so many, Waka was forced to take him along on the Ark of Yamato, which was itself attacked by Yami, resulting in the deaths of countless Celestials aboard the ship, with Naito, by then catatonic, his hair having turned snow white from the sheer horror of his situation, spared by the demons for reasons unknown. Hidden away by Waka, who wanted nothing more to do with him, he was put into a stasis chamber, awakening two hundred years later with the chamber failing. Wanting to get as far away from the others as possible, and wanting to escape his fellows, he crafted a rudimentary technomagical ship (only enough to escape and land on a world at random, and not enough to carry anyone else even if he wanted to), and through his psionic power keeping his mental image of his arm intact, built a new one out of psionically-active crystal. Lastly, in his maddened state, fearful of everyone, he engineered his first gun, a means of channeling his power that he believes he would come to regret if it were to expand to other civilizations.

- Psychometry: As he was forced to use psionic technology to create his left hand, it allows him to take impressions from items, viewing their histories either through visions, emotional readings, or auditory "recordings," to the point of hearing things from long ago, with the effectiveness diminishing over decades or centuries. He can also use this on individual people who touch the hand, though it does not extend to their thoughts themselves (and so cannot have a clear reading on the present). As a downside, he cannot control this effect, and may tap into items with darker histories that may cause him pain. If used effectively, it may even enable him to see what transpired a short time earlier to help track someone, but that requires intense focus and practice. While using this power, the irises of his eyes become transparent.
- Abominable Wing Summoning and Flight: When not wanted, his wings disappear from view, one in black smoke, the other in a flash of light. Despite the fact that they are disproportionate in their appearance, he can use them to fly. His black wing is mostly used to pull himself this way and that or to manipulate his place in the environment, while the white one is more useful for brute-force approaches and raw magical potential, though both can be used for basic carrying behavior. The only reason he has these abilities is his corrupted being, which, if viewed through a lens to what he "really" looks like, makes him appear to be, by all accounts, an angelic abomination (a "holy" being that has something fundamentally wrong with how it looks and operates).
-- Fear and Awe Aura: The instant he reveals his wings, Naito projects an aura unconsciously to any who see it. For those who see him as a threat, he instills fear (unless they are completely immune to fear or otherwise resistant), while those who see him as neutral or an ally are filled with awe (which can be resisted in a similar manner to a "charmed" effect in games, such as psychic control). The effect is instantaneous and does not last long, but may still mace an effect on people's interactiond and behaviors such as attacks or delays.
- Tainted Moon Tribe Clairvoyance: Many members of the Moon Tribe have the gift of clairvoyance, a perception of things or events in the future or beyond normal sensory contact. However, due to his state and the various problems of his being, Naito cannot directly access this potential. Instead, he tends to unconsciously mumble or write out with his fingers or hands about events he has no way of knowing about, typically having happened elsewhere. While he can interpret these writings, he often does not bother unless it helps him to survive, and cannot consciously choose where they lead.
- Moon Tribe Levitation: He can fly without his wings, albeit not while carrying others (without difficulty), much like many others of the Moon Tribe. However, a mental block keeps him from accessing this power, in no small part due to him not wanting to see himself as part of the Moon Tribe.
- Lunar Magic: Utilizes a form of lunar magic that focuses on the elements of yin and yang, and overall duality, stemming from an eldritch source. While they do have bases in magic and psionic powers both, they also have various similarities with the manipulation of chi, or ki. He knows that it can be used for locating the right direction to go, as well as to teleport, but does not have those spells available. While this power has an association with water and gravity, it does not appear to have direct control over them. In theory, this magic could be used to invoke illusions or invisibility, or even to control the moon itself, but such power is beyond Naito's accursed madness. This magic is stronger in the night, especially when the moon is out. In worlds where the phase of the moon is important, its power may wax and wane with the phases, but where it is unimportant or unmentioned, this is not a factor.
-- Silver Blessing: With a breath of cool air, the caster causes a single item to take on a glittering, silvery sheen, taking on the supernatural properties of silver.
-- Phase Spellcasting: Can augment his spells to increase or modify their effects at the cost of higher exhaustion or looser control. Doing so causes the area around to darken significantly (for Yang) or brighten significantly (for Yin), as if in an eclipse.
-- Celestial Shift: Switch from one style of lunar magic to the other. If with enough practice and time to focus, can even balance on the edge of them both to use spells neither could alone, but at the cost of not using either of their specialties either.
-- Yang Style: Focused on the light, this form of magic is more external and physically based. This magic influences him to be more empathetic, helping others as much as he can, but very aggressively. The overall manifestation of this type of magic is a white light that is tinged with darkness. Out of the two styles, this one works better at utilizing direct light such as sunlight powered magic to power lunar spells, though only as necessary. If out of control, this style of magic can result in blasts of white-black energy that can sear the landscape or cause serious harm to others.
--- Moonlight Strike: Wreathes his weapon in moonlight, enabling it to deal light or cold-based damage (depending upon the world). The weapon glows with a soft inner light. If it is ice-based damage, it can freeze a surface or person severely while impaled into them (unless used with a slashing attack only).
--- Moonbeam: Fires a beam of moonlight, which deals freezing damage if it hits, and deals extra damage to those who are affected by the moon (werebeasts, et cetera). This beam can be fired from him personally (especially from his hands) or called down from the sky if outside at night for increased damage. For added potential, it can be kept active continuously over a longer period of time in the latter case and perhaps moved around like a lunar spotlight, with the main problem being it costs much more power to function in this way and may require him to not do anything else while it is in action so as to keep it under his control.
--- Lucent Touch: A touch-based healing spell that can repair physical damage, but not mental effects (such as emotion-based powers or illusions).
--- Mark of Waning: The target, after being hit with a strike of lunar energy, is noticeably more tired, slowing them down and making them physically weaker in contests of strength.[LOCKED]
--- Smoking Mirror: Can look to the moon and see a smoky reflection of the surrounding area as a bird's eye view, though he is forced to rely upon his own memory to keep the locations in his head. The cloudier the night, the harder it is to get a good reading, and this power does not work in places where there is no moon in the sky, as well as only functioning at night.[LOCKED]
--- Feral Call: Scream loudly, a bestial roar, and call wild beasts nearby to the caster's aid. This spell is most powerful when he is angry.[LOCKED]
-- Yin Style: Focused on the darkness, this form of power is more of an internal psychic source than arcane, allowing for illusions and other mental effects. This psionic power hands to dampen his empathy when in use, but is also relatively subtle. The overall manifestation of this power is a deep, spectral blackness that is speckled with shifting points of light, as if it were a window into the night sky. However, it is typically visible only to those who have supernaturally inclined senses. This style is his usual preference unless otherwise stated. If out of control, this style can result in the production of wide, sweeping illusory landscapes around the user, making friends and foes alike look like and sound monsters, and even showing elements of Naito's true form in flickers.
--- Telekinesis: Basic telekinetic ability by using invisible tendrils of dark, void-like yin energy from minuscule portals, which he can even wrap around his limbs to increase the force behind a punch or kick if necessary. Use on the living is slightly more difficult for beginners, but not impossible. He can also control multiple objects simultaneously, though this takes practice, especially if it involves fine motor control on each item (such as using multiple firearms).
--- Moonshadow Strike: Deals a strike with his weapon, preferably his ranged one, that deals darkness or overall magic-based damage (depending on the world). If the shots are visible, they are infused with a deep, dark blue energy that borders on black, symbolizing the darkest elements of sapient nature.
--- Lunacy: Drives the target into a crazed, often violent state for a short period, unable to tell friend from foe. Can be extended if used continuously, or if focused heavily can even lead them to destroy themselves (provided they are weak willed).
--- Luminous Clarity: Shine a light into the darkest moments, shielding an ally from outside psychic influence. If the spell is enhanced, it can also remove said influence as if a psychic "Esuna" type spell.[LOCKED]
--- Moonstruck: Deals psychic damage to the target, bypassing physical defenses (but not magical ones) by attacking their very mind.[LOCKED]
--- Balance Inversion: Can temporarily invert a target's morality and switch the associations of allies and foes in their mind, causing them to switch sides. Must achieve physical contact. Only lasts a short time, but the amount is extended the more firmly the victim is entrenched in one side or another (such as a very lawful and heroic hero turning into a chaotic and depraved villain, et cetera).[LOCKED]
-- Balanced Style: Utilizes both Yin and Yang simultaneously to different effects than can be performed with either one, in addition to powers directly associated with chi. Difficult to accomplish with stability, especially for extended periods, due to requiring utter balance between the two sides.[LOCKED]
--- Darklight Construction: Can form various temporary constructs out of lunar energy, including bridges or orbs of moonlight for viewing purposes. This power seems to be a crystalline mixture between moonstone and silver when solidified, but when molded, it seems to be some paradoxical silver fluid that is simultaneously composed of cold flames.[LOCKED]
-- Eclipse Form: Splits himself into two beings; one can only use Yang Style magic and is much more feral and in tune with the moon curse he has, having the ethereal angelic wing on each shoulder; the other can only use Yin Style psionics, with the inclusion of tendrils of psychic energy in a manner akin to an eldritch being able to lash out at others to attack them if they come close, having the fallen angel wing on each shoulder. While in these two beings, an ethereal form akin to his soul (see appearance) can be seen.[LOCKED]
Abilities:
- Duality Arcana: Is skilled at understanding the diametric opposition between different power sets, such as ice and fire, light and darkness, law and chaos, and more, to the point of being able to, with effort, figure out ways to utilize each of them (even if he cannot use them himself, as is often the case).
- Exotic Engineering: Is capable with higher technology mergers of science and magic or psionic power for either magitek or "psi-tech." This includes modern or even futuristic technologies, and may even include eldritch functions in the vein of thing beyond the pale. When combined with his powers, he can even infuse spirits or fragments of individuals (such as their darker impulses or a figurative shadow of themselves) into said items, potentially enabling them to have their own personalities and speech capabilities, though not necessarily with loyalty to him or the owner.
- Lunar Resistance: Due to being partially mad himself, Naito is highly resistant to insanity-inducing effects such as eldritch magic or occult tomes, allowing him to use them relatively frequently without fear for himself beyond what is normal for him.
- Moonsight: Naito's connection to the moon grants him heightened ability to see in the dark, on top of ability to see writing often only seen by moonlight.
- Lunar Affinity: Much like his core magic, Naito's abilities wax and wane with the moon. At times of a new moon, he is relatively weak and capable of being taken down relatively quickly if people can get a hold on him. By contrast, at times of a full moon, he has heightened speed, strength, and awareness, though this comes at the expense of him also feeling the corruptive influences with him since birth all the more, potentially causing him to lose focus. The stronger phases of the moon also come with a bizarre phenomenon of water sources having an instinctual draw toward him, though he cannot control the water itself.
- Occult Knowledge: Has intimate knowledge of a variety of occult, eldritch, or otherwise arcane information, to the point of being able to read and understand various dangerous texts, in small part due to his existing restrained madness.
-- Mooncurse: When angered, Naito's body becomes increasingly bestial and feral, making his teeth grow to fangs and his hands slowly grow to claws. Although this makes him look like a werebeast, he is not particularly vulnerable to the same elements.
- Psychological Stress: Naito's post-traumatic stress disorder can lead to severe consequences, including in combat.
-- Thousand Yard Stare: Has a possibility of freezing up (akin to a "stun" effect) in response to using the mental effects of his powers to subdue a foe, having momentary flashbacks in that period. Snapping him out of it may require taking him away from the situation (gently, preferably) or shaking him until he comes to.
-- Panic Attacks: Certain experiences may lead him to have a panic attack, shaking and falling to his knees while hyperventilating. These experiences include places of high intensity emotion (particularly screaming or mad laughter), meeting with angelic beings, and divine magic, though it does not always occur under those circumstances. Those who have experience with his stress or something similar may suggest breathing exercises in the moment coupled with having him look at them. This symptom is unlikely in the midst of combat, but could show up after it, or even immediately after a stare.
- Wild Kinship: Has an affinity to wild animals under the moon, especially wolves and rabbits, enabling him to better work with them, at least so far as them not often attacking him. This connection does not extend to direct communication, so he can only interact through motions rather than speech. Wild animals seem capable of understanding him talking, but he cannot understand them in turn.
Weapons: Naito has two separate weapons; one for close range, one for longer range. While they can each be used separately or at the same time, they each are innately tuned to one of his power styles.
- Yomi (Underworld): A modified kusarigama with a silver blade and a seemingly crystalline white hilt that appears made from moonstone, connected to a silver chain with a carving of what appears to be a rabbit on the weight at the end. The blade can be shifted from a straighter (though still curved) blade design and a more traditionally hooked scythe appearance, and can also be folded up in a manner akin to a folding knife (such as a balisong, a.k.a. butterfly knife) to conceal if wanted to keep away from notice. Lighting up along sigils ingrained into the blade when out at night brightly enough to be used as a light source in its own right, this weapon was taken from the remains of his original ship using remnants of Moon Tribe technology. Typically used just with the kama end, but the rope is sometimes used if he needs to climb. It is "moon-touched," and thus gains extra power under the moon, even glowing silver and leaving streaks of a silver-gray blue as he swings. When using his Yang style, this weapon's blade can extend and thicken to appear as a larger scythe when infused with power, though the actual weapon remains the same size. The weapon can also be summoned to his hand at will due to its connection to his magic and his psychic abilities, flying to his hand rather than teleporting there.
- Haji (Shame): A ranged weapon forged by Naito out of a midnight blue crystalline material that integrates with his Yin style, having the mark of a snarling wolf along the side of the barrel. The weapon utilizes his psionic power as ammunition that can regenerate itself if he does not use the weapon for a short period of time. The base form is a semi-automatic handgun with a pair of limbs at the front to work as a crossbow (the inner side of each limb also having the lupine motif), but the actual effects of the weapon depend upon his use of psychic energy, with him able to expend single strong blasts, or a sustained stream of weaker ones akin to automatic fire. He can fire bullets in a firearm formation or bolts in a crossbow formation. The actual effects of the weapon are invisible, dealing direct psychic damage. Even if the bolts fired from its crossbow formation hold someone steady, they only exist so long as he concentrates on them. If he fires the weapon when he is too exhausted, it may backfire and cause him psychic damage instead.
Equipment:
- Laboratory: Located on his ship, this is where he constructs magitechnnology or psionic technology.
- Moonlight Lantern: A dim lantern that grants light in darkened areas using the power of moonlight, capable of transforming though affected by the moon back to their un-transformed selves under its light.
Awareness: No
History: Born under a dark star, he grew up with abilities distinct from the technological capabilities of many of his fellow Moon Tribesmen. Upon the beginning of the Moon Tribe cataclysm, he used his magic, through means that he considers to be entirely his own fault (and others who survived agree) to drive his family to madness with the Yin side of his powers, causing them to kill one another, only stopping once his left arm was severed in their crazed state. With the fall of so many, Waka was forced to take him along on the Ark of Yamato, which was itself attacked by Yami, resulting in the deaths of countless Celestials aboard the ship, with Naito, by then catatonic, his hair having turned snow white from the sheer horror of his situation, spared by the demons for reasons unknown. Hidden away by Waka, who wanted nothing more to do with him, he was put into a stasis chamber, awakening two hundred years later with the chamber failing. Wanting to get as far away from the others as possible, and wanting to escape his fellows, he crafted a rudimentary technomagical ship (only enough to escape and land on a world at random, and not enough to carry anyone else even if he wanted to), and through his psionic power keeping his mental image of his arm intact, built a new one out of psionically-active crystal. Lastly, in his maddened state, fearful of everyone, he engineered his first gun, a means of channeling his power that he believes he would come to regret if it were to expand to other civilizations.
Hobbies: Reading, working on inventions, talking to the possibly imaginary "spirits". Otherwise, is too caught up in his own self-loathing to even consider finding hobbies.
