Sonic is a slim anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur that covers most of his body and peach skin that covers his arms, muzzle and front torso. He had a round head and an equally round torso in his younger years, with black eyes. However, he developed green eyes as he became older. Sonic was also shorter and stubbier, but he has since grown significantly taller and thinner since then. He also has six long quills on the back of his head, two spines protruding from his back behind his shoulders, and a short tail.
For attire, Sonic wears two light-weight, hyper friction resistant red sneakers with white cuffs around the ankles, gray soles, and white straps across the top, the last of which are held down by a golden buckle on each foot. He also wears a pair of white gloves with sock-like cuffs on his hands.
Personality:
Sonic is an adventurous and free-spirited soul who's always on the move, enjoying traveling the world its nature. Easygoing, cool, carefree, yet sometimes he can rush into situations without really thinking things through, as well as sometimes coming off as having a big ego, but that also makes him quick-witted and at times even overconfident; enjoying trash-talking his opponents.
He also hates being constrained or cooped up, making him somewhat impatient and impulsive. Despite these behaviors, he is a caring person and very loyal to his friends, and always tries to keep his promises to the people he cares about, as well as carrying a powerful sense of determination and willpower.
Powers: Sonic has a host of abilities, mostly revolving around his super speed. As the core, he is capable of moving at high speeds through running, even able to accelerate to mach speed near-instantly. While he is mostly known for moving at super-sonic speeds (hence his name), he is also capable of moving even faster, at light speed, for very short bursts in certain circumstances. He can also "charge up" his super speed by spinning his legs in a figure eight formation continuously, a status known as the "Super Peel-Out."
- Blue Tornado: Sonic can run around a target very fast numerous times, creating a momentary whirlwind that sends them flying into the air. This skill can also be used to deal direct damage instead by keeping the target on the ground using his "Sonic Wind."
- Boost: Using his speed and connection to wind, Sonic is able to create a momentary field of pure speed around him that seems to give him a blue aura of some sort, enabling him to act as a high-speed projectile of some sort to get through tougher barriers.
- Spin Dash: Sonic rolls himself up into a ball, "revs" himself up by spinning in place, and launches off into the distance, dealing damage to those who are in his way or otherwise passing obstacles.
- Homing Attack: While in the air, Sonic rolls into a ball and speeds toward a target, homing in on a specific point on their body. Upon making contact, he immediately bounces off and uncurls.
- Sonic Wave: By spinning in his "spin dash" formation and holding in place, Sonic can send out shockwaves of wind along the ground for longer distance attacks. He can also utilize this skill from the air in the form of a similar attack known as "Sonic Storm."
- Vibrational Regeneration: By using his innate speed, Sonic can heal himself over time if he remains still long enough through speeding up his own metabolism. However, this does not work if he is otherwise moving, and does not allow him to do anything else until it is done.
- Chaos Control: When he has access to Chaos Emeralds (an uncommon occurrence), Sonic is capable of utilizing them to freeze time or teleport himself. However, he can only use this kind of power if he is in direct contact with said gems, and loses said ability if he has them taken away from him.
- Danger Sense: Sonic is able to sense incoming threats by way of his spines twitching, though what exactly the threats are eludes him until he can see them himself.

- Extreme Willpower: Sonic has an extraordinarily high level of willpower, rarely ever falling to any darkness in his heart.
- Parkour: Sonic is able to accurately move around his surroundings, including swiftly moving from side to side despite a dead run in a single direction, moving even faster by vaulting over obstacles, and running or jumping up or across vertical surfaces as easily as horizontal ones.
- High Leg Strength: While he has some degree of strength over much of his body, most of Sonic's strength comes from his legs, causing him to concentrate any direct fighting on using kicks rather than his hands if at all possible, with his fighting style essentially being weaponized breakdancing.
- Fast Reflexes: As part of his super speed, Sonic has heightened reflexes as well, able to negotiate his environment just as easily as he can run through it.
- Extreme Durability: Sonic is capable of withstanding atmospheric reentry as well as cutting through metal with his spines if need be.
- Moderate Swordsmanship: From his experiences with Caliburn, Sonic has some skill with a sword, though he prefers not to use them.

What is really left to know about Sonic the Hedgehog? After all, he is one of the most recognizable heroes across the realm of reality; An icon of so many stories and adventures, that it'd be hard to really account for them all!
He was born on Christmas Island with his abnormal ability to run at super-speed, but his love for adventure eventually called him away from his home. Since then, he has spent his life traveling the South Isles, driven by his restless spirit, in search of adventures to satisfy his thirst for thrills.
At some point, Sonic met Dr. Ivo Robotnik, better known as Dr. Eggman; a maniac scientist with dreams of world domination. Capturing animals and placing them into his Badnik mechs, he and Sonic soon became enemies. The blue hedgehog would subsequently fight Robotnik in an untold number of confrontations as the scientist attempted time and time again to outmatch him and dominate the landscape, with Sonic foiling the doctor's plans each time.
This lead to multiple stories to be born from Sonic's exploits. From saving the floating landmass known as Angel Island, stopping Eggman's use of the Space Colony ARK, liberating an enslaved alien race from his devious deadly amusement park and even avoiding the doctor's complete control over time and space! As previously stated, so many adventures to be told.
However most recently, Sonic and his friends had to confront Dr. Eggman in one arduous showdown for the liberation of their entire world; As the malevolent scientist had previously conquered 99% of it by defeating Sonic with the aid of a new foe, Infinite, and powered by a mysterious yet powerful gemstone known as the Phantom Ruby. Despite the hardships, and with the aid of his time-traveling past self and a courageous young Resistance recruit, Eggman's powerful Death Egg Robot was defeated and any traces of him, alongside the Phantom Ruby had completely vanished. This lead for a period of peace, with their group of freedom fighters shifting into the restoration efforts to bring their world back to its usual tranquility.
But, just as Sonic's thirst for adventure, life wouldn't be content for true peace to remain dominant, and so it appeared the swift winds of fate started to blow once more, calling for the blue blur to spindash into action!

Green Hill Zone, one week ago...
The sunshine brightly atop the clear blue skies, while a swift wind blew across the checker-marked plains of Green Hill, lifting up the dust of the road, the fallen leaves and swaying the sunflowers and palm trees in a quick united move. But of course, this was not an ordinary wind, the sheer velocity of one particular individual as he boosted through the green pastures in a matter of seconds.
Atop a particularly tall hill, Sonic the Hedgehog made his stop; Halting his feet a few mere steps from the edge with no real worry. The blue hedgehog brought his gloved hand atop his gaze, shading the rays to clarify his watch. Green eyes dancing across carelessly while admiring the view.
"A view like this never gets old. Even though I've passed Green Hill countless times already!" Sonic chuckled to himself out loud, his usual carefree attitude remaining bright even more now that the war against the Eggman Empire had finished and the threat of the Phantom Ruby was no more.
Things felt different from the usual bout against the good ol' doctor; Usually, Eggman'd be up and about way earlier, but for once, Sonic and his friends were granted a rather long period of peace, thanks to the scientist's mysterious disappearance. Nobody really knew where he was, and that could only spell trouble on the long run...
"Now let's see...where did Tails say that--ph there we go!"
His eyes finally set on his sights. A series of Egg Pawns marched at a secluded clearing, making their way down a low-side path towards somewhere in particular that couldn't be seen. This had been the third sighting of Eggman's badniks acting more coordinated, despite currently having no orders to follow. Something or someone was putting them in line once more, yet Sonic assumed it wouldn't be anything big...
With a quick warm-up, Sonic got into motion, rushing through the path with a trail of blue behind him, quickly sliding behind a nearby rock to have a closer look. "Alright, let's see what this party is all about..."
What he found was rather unexpected. The group of Badniks appeared to be in the process of operating a strange machine. A big arch-shaped device with a chrome round flat center underneath. It almost looked like some kind of gate with some monitors and controls over to the sides. Despite having the urge to just go there and bash them, Sonic's curiosity managed to restrain him just enough to see the next step unfold.
The last robot to arrive appeared to be carrying some kind of dusty bag which, one opened, revealed a rather generous sum of golden rings. The others quickly picked the bag and scattered the rings across the flat surface, before introducing some commands on a keyboard and pulling on a big red lever.
Sparks flew; a crazy lightshow of energy spawning from the gate and multi-colored energy seemed to course through the pile of rings like electricity, lifting them and making them hover in the air while a glow started to manifest around each of them...
"Alright, seen enough!" Sonic proclaimed before making himself seen. With a cocky tone, he taunted at the Egg Pawns. "Yo, is this party open, or should I ask for a supervisor and get myself a ticket?"
The Eggman automatons wasted no time, lifting their blasters and opening fire upon the hedgehog, who swiftly zigzagged across each laser while circling around the general area. With a confident grin, sonic curled into a ball and used his homing attack, smashing against the orange metal chassis of each other pawns over and over, wrecking them into submission.
With the now-pile of junk collapsed in front of him, Sonic simply dusted his hands off as he declared proudly, "and that's that! Pretty weak act, I admit. Guess they really aren't much of an issue with the doc missing. Oh well..."
But despite the defeat of his enemies, the blue hedgehog was soon caught unaware by a frantic strike of lightning hitting mere inches away from his feet, causing him to jump. "Yikes! Okay, what's going o--oh right..."
In his focus on the Egg Pawns, he had completely forgotten about the mysterious machine they had activated. And without their care, it appeared that the device was quickly going hirewire! Suddenly, one of the rings started to transform; Increasing its size while a strange swirling vortex opened right on the hole. Everything around it was soon sucked into it's powerful suction: the scrapped Egg Pawns, the other rings, the bag and soon after, Sonic himself."
Getting his feet in gear, Sonic started to try and run away, but the strength of this strange ring portal was too strong, slowly dragging him towards it despite his currently figure-8-shaped legs moving as fast as he could.
It only took a minute before the strength of the portal was too much, starting to drag even pieces of the ground, rock and walls of the nearby vicinity, alongside the machine that created this anomaly too! The portal went crazy, shifting and wobbling while the current became too much for our hero and suddenly Sonic was lifted from the ground and engulfed by the vortex. A powerful flash of light soon followed and after...everything gone. The machine, the rings and Sonic; Not a single trace but the wrecked surroundings and the scorching marks across the ground.
Sonic seemed to have lost consciousness the moment he stepped in, perhaps having accidentally hit his head on one of the bulders that thing managed to absorb. Regardless, when he'd open his eyes he'd soon realize he was no longer home and in an entirely new world....
