The type of Formchange depends on the keychain Sora has equipped in his Keyblade at the moment of use. Currently, he possesses the following:
Second Form - Sora can call upon this Form when using his Kingdom Key Keyblade. His weapon does not change, but his clothes shift into colors reminiscent of his old outfit (KH2). This form increases the powers of his current abilities while also granting new ones like Stun Impact which creates a burst of energy, Sonic blade, which allows Sora to thrust through the air at high speeds for multiple damage, or Ars Arcanum which delivers a barrage of powerful and fast swings, amongst others.

As the three kids were in the process of building a raft to explore the ocean, the following night a powerful storm soon shook the entire place; As Heartless started to pour into the world and engulf it into darkness. Sora rushed to save the raft and check on his friends, only to be met with cryptic foretellings and dangerous dark creatures. But it was then when, in a flash of light, a dark-vanquishing weapon manifested into his hand: The legendary Keyblade.
Despite his best efforts, Destiny Islands was soon consumed by darkness, and Sora woke up off his world into a strange place known as Traverse Town. From here he was met with another encounter that'd set course to his destiny: Meeting with the court wizard Donald Duck and the Knight Captain Goofy.
The trio explored the world in search of Sora's friends and the one known as King Mickey, becoming close friends in the process. They went through multiple adventures, confronting dangerous threats, powerful beings of darkness, enduring arduous hardships and bonded with multiple people along the way. It was after so many of these adventures where Sora started to really learn of the man behind all the hurt and torment of many; Master Xehanort. A man obsessed with summoning the power of Kingdom Hearts into the realm of light, for his nefarious purposes. As such, it was necessary for Sora and his friend Riku to step up and become certified Keyblade Masters by going through the Trail of Mastery. But what seemed like a straight-forward quest of awakening the Sleeping Worlds, turned into a trap by Organization XIIIto lure him into the darkness in order to acquire a necessary thirteen vessel for Xehanort's master plan. Luckily, his friends rescued him in the nick of time and made their getaway, at the cost of Sora failing the exam.
However, Sora was not one to simply give up even in difficult times. As the clash between light and darkness loomed over everyone's heads, Sora is determined to regain his lost strength, find a way to save the ones who have been lost and stop the Organization XIII once and for all.

The silence of the vast cosmic plane extending infinitely was only broken by the roaring sounds of the Gummi Ship's thrusters as a particular heroic trio was once again on the move after some time of preparation and one incredible task atop mount Olympus.
"Again? Come on!"
"Hey! I already said it before. These things take time!"
"Gawrsh it really is turning into a routine!"
Sora, Donald and Goofy sat at their designated seats, glancing at the space outside, once again conflicted in to where to go next.
"At this rate we'll never gonna unlock that Power of Awakening!" Grumped the magician duck. "Think faster!"
"Gee, will you stop rubbing it in? I get it, but hey I am started to get my strength back some more. And now we know all the new stuff Yen Sid gave us works very well after that trip to Twilight Town." Sora in the meanwhile tried to think on the brighter side of it all. Despite losing most of his powers, he was not about to give when the fate of the worlds had fallen once again in his hands.
"And besides..." The spiky-haired lad added, "It's even harder to really focus after what Yen Sid told us. You know about those two..."
Crossing his arms and slumping back on to his seat, he recalled back to their trip to Olympus. Helping Hercules, fighting once more against Hades, and proving once again they were heroes. But then there was Xigbar, showing up just to brag and give some of his scripting messages as expected of most of the Organization. There were Maleficent and Pete, going about that Black Box and taunting Sora of his lost strength. But right now his mind focused on the more...odd revelation that happened. Those two world-travelers, clad in blue and pink: Kalas and Xelha, as they introduced themselves.
For most of his adventures, and excluding a few of his friends and enemies. Most folks were unable to travel between worlds like that, much less using powers, unlike anything he had ever seen before. They seemed like nice people, yet it just filled Sora with curiosity. They made sure to visit the Mysterious Tower after their little detour into Twilight Town to inform this to the powerful wizard only to be met with quite the explanation...

One could simply assume this to be something of Xehanort's handiwork. However, a second shift in the cosmic planes had made me realize that this can only be the work of something greater within the nature of the realms."
"Gee, if it's something that even Master Yen Sid had trouble sensing, it really must be something big." Goofy pointed out towards his companions. The sorcerer simply gave a soft nod before continuing.
"It appears some mysterious event have caused for many of the barriers of light that separate the worlds to shatter in a simultaneous reaction, bringing forth a multitude worlds to connect with each other. Faraway worlds much different than the ones you're accustomed to. It's highly probable that those two individuals you met had also been affected by this phenomenon. More visitors from these far worlds may be already be among us. In fact, this...Convergence appears to have reached within a realm far beyond of our normal understanding as well..."
"Another realm?" Sora tilted his head, still keeping the ear up to hear more from the master.
"Not so long after you left, a blinding flash of light manifested outside of the tower. Moments later, a young girl climbed up to my study in quite the fright. My mere presence caused confusion within her, as if she had met me in the past. "As she left, she remarked a strange name continued to ring within her mind. "The Great Convergence", as if this cosmic event itself had somehow called to her to reveal its presence."

Despite losing most of his powers, he was not about to give when the fate of the worlds had fallen once again in his hands.
"And besides..." The spiky-haired lad added, "It's even harder to really focus after what Yen Sid told us. You know about those two..."
Crossing his arms and slumping back on to his seat, he recalled back to their trip to Olympus. Helping Hercules, fighting once more against Hades, and proving once again they were heroes. But then there was Xigbar, showing up just to brag and give some of his scripting messages as expected of most of the Organization. There were Maleficent and Pete, going about that Black Box and taunting Sora of his lost strength. But right now his mind focused on the more...odd revelation that happened. Those two world-travelers, clad in blue and pink: Kalas and Xelha, as they introduced themselves.
For most of his adventures, and excluding a few of his friends and enemies. Most folks were unable to travel between worlds like that, much less using powers, unlike anything he had ever seen before. They seemed like nice people, yet it just filled Sora with curiosity. They made sure to visit the Mysterious Tower after their little detour into Twilight Town to inform this to the powerful wizard only to be met with quite the explanation...

"...--and well, that's pretty much it"
Yen Sid, great sorcerer and retired master, simply frowned with a deep hum, a usual reaction of his. Sora, Donald and Goofy just stood up silently, awaiting for his response with looks of both respect and worry.
"It appears this phenomenon has affected more people than I originally estimated." He spoke.
"Wait? Master Yen Sid. You knew about this?" Asked Sora.
"Rather recently." The wizard explained in a calm yet still strong tone of voice. "A disturbance in the flow of magic had previously alerted me of something being amiss. One could simply assume this to be something of Xehanort's handiwork. However, a second shift in the cosmic planes had made me realize that this can only be the work of something greater within the nature of the realms."
"Gee, if it's something that even Master Yen Sid had trouble sensing, it really must be something big." Goofy pointed out towards his companions. The sorcerer simply gave a soft nod before continuing.
"It appears some mysterious event have caused for many of the barriers of light that separate the worlds to shatter in a simultaneous reaction, bringing forth a multitude worlds to connect with each other. Faraway worlds much different than the ones you're accustomed to. It's highly probable that those two individuals you met had also been affected by this phenomenon. More visitors from these far worlds may be already be among us. In fact, this...Convergence appears to have reached within a realm far beyond of our normal understanding as well..."
"Another realm?" Sora tilted his head, still keeping the ear up to hear more from the master.
"Not so long after you left, a blinding flash of light manifested outside of the tower. Moments later, a young girl climbed up to my study in quite the fright. My mere presence caused confusion within her, as if she had met me in the past. She confided to me strange knowledge of her world; where stories from the past have been presented to them in strange and unique manners, granting them vast knowledge over the many worlds we inhabit, but also powers suit to their struggles and skills, and rules that have been forged to suit them."
"As she left, she remarked a strange name continued to ring within her mind. "The Great Convergence", as if this cosmic event itself had somehow called to her to reveal its presence."
"So then what do we do?" Asked Donald in worry.
"You must continue on your set task. Sora still needs to regain the Power of Awakening. Putting a stop to Xehanort's plan still continues to be a priority. However, it is very clear to me that he'll take advantage of this new development, putting countless of new worlds at risk. As the organization's power continues to extend, so does the primal powers of darkness..."
"The Heartless..." Sora muttered.
"All kinds of darkness are soon to reach these worlds. Perhaps they already have. We cannot be sure if some of these visitors may come to be allies or foes, but we must stay alert. And most importantly continue to forge a bond between them. After all, that is your greatest strength, Sora."

"So many worlds..." Sora sighed.
"Well, think of it this way." Goofy leaned over to his seat with a peppy look on his face. "With so many new worlds to explore, there's gotta be something in them that may help you trigger the Power of Waking!"
Sora brought his hand to his chin, rubbing it softly while nodding in agreement. "I guess that makes sense. Besides, I couldn't just stay there knowing the Organization may be trying something nasty in some of those worlds. We just gotta pull through!"
"But where are we going then?" Donald tapped quickly.
"Well...maybe leave it to luck?"
"Get serious!!"
"I am serious! Maybe if I simply let my heart go with the flow, maybe we will find a way to one of these new worlds"
"Couldn't hurt to try! Hyuck!" The captain of the guard added as well. Donald simply sighed and gave a final shrug of acceptance.
That's when Sora brought his arm forward. A spiraling flash of light forming around his hand before taking solid form. A shiny key-shaped weapon forging for him: The powerful weapon known as the Keyblade.
Bringing forth Kingdom Key, aimed towards the cosmos, the brown-haired teen closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He thought back to the peaceful sights of his homeland, Destiny Islands. The sound of the waves softly sweeping up and down the shore and crashing soundly further within the ocean. Just like the flow of water, he was reaching for this sense of serenity, to let his heart drift forth and lead him to land...
Suddenly, a beam of light emerged from the tip of the keyblade, crossing out of the ship and impacting within the space in front of the vessel. From there a swirling vortex emerged from the nothingness. "It worked!!" Donald exclaimed.
"That's a gate!" Added Goofy.
As he opened his eyes, Sora smiled. His heart had not failed him yet! Looking back at his two great friends, his body filled with a newfound determination. "Alright guys. Ready to go?"
"You bet!" "Let's do this!" both cried in excitement.
And so, the three half-pints trusted themselves into the gate, disappearing alongside their Gummi Ship before traveling through incredible speed across the ocean between as a whole new adventure unfolded to them.
